remove the wick and run your finger down the edge horizontal not the ends and see if any little strands of steel are sticking out. If those little pieces stick out they can be what is touching your coil and shorting it. I had to do this as well as re-oxidizing my coil. edit: meant the... -

Why not buy a nice case and build a holder for the dna20 chip. You could make it to support the chip then drill holes for all of the contacts and find screws to fit. Instead of soldering the chip down you could screw all the wires down.- trevor148

Power isn't an issue to me. 400 mah would be perfect for gaming. It would last a 2 hour gaming session easy and might last for those 4 hour long insomnia sessions. Just pick a low ohm device if you need the extra heat. -
