    I have always seen it as personal choice. If someone wants a 6 amp or even 10 amp chip, that's what they want so I am willing to do it. In my dual barrel mods I always use a 10 amp chip just to ensure that no matter what is put on there, it's gonna have the power it needs. James :evil:

    All of my regulators are switching regulators built for 3 amps. Anything higher than that and the chip itself will shut off due to over amperage circuits in it.     I've never seen a 3000mah in person so I'm not sure. Looking at some of the better photos I've found it looks like they're longer and the button top is recessed a bit to try and compensate for that. I don't know if they would fit or not. James :evil:
