    Serious Technical Question: Smoke Alarms

    they use some sort of "beam" to detect particles in the air. If you have a smoke detector in the hallway near a bathroom a hot shower (steam) can set them off.. As for vaping setting one off I have no clue. But it's not like you 'fish bowl' your car when vaping, as opposed to smoking.
