    I suspect you have already been reading the Modding Forum . I would look at how to build 1x 18650 with a built in charger and then modify it to use two 18650 bataries in parallel. Charging time will be a little longer. I would suggest making a protection against having 1 battery upside down...

    I thought that you might have been making coil builds that utilized different guages of wire. Some of those builds appeal to me like any other art. I'm still curious about whether or not your wick is scorched under the coil.

    I haven't done anything like that. I sure that you have seen this guy's videos. The Art of Vaping I'm not sure how to judge these builds, but he did make it look pretty straight forward.

    It sounds like you might be sub-ohming. On those builds I have observed that some wires run much hotter than the remaining wires in the build. If your juice is able to contact those parts before vaporizing, I wouldn't be surprised if you get a scorched taste. I haven't made any sub ohm...
