DIY Lemon-Menthol 12% nic 70/30 VG/PG on a Provari P3 with Kayfun 4 tank. I'm vapin at 9.4W on a 1.6 ohm 36G vertibraid coil. It is the only setup that I have at present. Well I do have an unused Nautilus tank in reserve.
I suspect you have already been reading the Modding Forum . I would look at how to build 1x 18650 with a built in charger and then modify it to use two 18650 bataries in parallel. Charging time will be a little longer. I would suggest making a protection against having 1 battery upside down...
Welcome to the ECF Bjorn. There is a lot of good information on this forum(sometimes buried awfully darn deep, elusive to search, and more than what a single human can process). If you have any questions or comments feel free to pipe in.
My phone won't fours any closer. Had to drop down to 10W with this from 12.4W on the braided 32G kanthal. Needed only 6 wraps to get 1.61 ohm. 1/8 inch inner diameter. 36G vertibraid
The 18 mg will help. I would focus more on how many cigarettes you are not smoking while vaping now instead of on the cigarettes you are smoking. You might be putting too much pressure on your self. If you do like pressure you could use the mantra "I'm not smoking today! Maybe tomorrow". The...
Congrats on finding a good flavor! I have to use about 10% of the flavored juice and mix it with an unflavored nicotine base. If I don't do this, I get flavor overload. This has made flavors enjoyable that I thought were disgusting earlier. Don't worry too much about falling off the wagon...
Welcome to the forum. Nice job kicking the cigs. I'm only a week into my third round of this. The bad thing is that I had been smoke free for over a year before I picked it up again on both of the earlier attempts. The only encouraging news is that it does seem to get easier to put them down...
I use a Kayfun 4 and really enjoy the flavor. Its got a lot of parts, so I would definitely watch some youtube reviews before deciding to go with it or a clone of it.
It sounds like you were just starting to scorch at the end of the hit. You aught to see the coils that my wife vapes on. I don't see how she can taste anything after vaping on those black abominations. I thought it was her juice that made that awful stink in the house. I have to keep the...
I thought that you might have been making coil builds that utilized different guages of wire. Some of those builds appeal to me like any other art. I'm still curious about whether or not your wick is scorched under the coil.
I haven't done anything like that. I sure that you have seen this guy's videos. The Art of Vaping
I'm not sure how to judge these builds, but he did make it look pretty straight forward.
It sounds like you might be sub-ohming. On those builds I have observed that some wires run much hotter than the remaining wires in the build. If your juice is able to contact those parts before vaporizing, I wouldn't be surprised if you get a scorched taste. I haven't made any sub ohm...
Welcome to the forum. Have fun stalking the mailman. It seems to be a second or third favorite pastime among vapers. Vaping is first, while posting on ECF is the other one.
There is really no issue with gunking up the coil on an RBA or RBT. About once a week, remove your old wick, burn off the coils and replace the wick. If you like changing flavors periodically and you are really picky, you can do this proceadure each time you change the flavors. I think it is...
I will have to agree with ElectriSean that rebuilding isn't something to be scared of. The biggest advantage of rebuildables is that you can change out the wick quickly to get fresh flavor after getting a burnt hit. Or when your coil gets gunked up, just remove the wick burn off the gunk and...
