    I've just recently attached my black extension cap to my satin black Provari, and noticed the color of the cap and Provari are different shades of black. The end cap is a darker black, where as the Pro is more a lighter charcoal black. Anyone else notice this? I really wish the Provari was...

    Genesis: Kanthal A-1 32 awg seems to be the most widely used. Also 30 awg. For Ody and Penelope: Resistance wire = Nichrome/Kanthal 32, 34, 36 gauge seems to be used quite often. No resistance wire = nickel or silver 30 gauge. Wick for Genesis style attys = SS mesh 400 and 325. Wick...

    I got mine off of ebay. 400 12x12 for 14.99, and I believe the 325 mesh was just a bit more. Edit: They also had smaller sizes to order as well.

    hi. multimeter question.

    I picked mine up on Amazon, while not as cheap as the one recommended here, it was still less than 20 dollars. Equus 3320 auto ranging multimeter. Works fine for my needs, and seems to match what my Provari reads as for as batt. voltage and resitance on attys/cartos.

    DID Repairable Atomizer

    dspin has been helping me learn a lot about the rebuild-ables, and he also suggested keeping the filling screw out. He says it mutes the flavor, and you seem to be confirming that :) I'll certainly try both when it arrives.

    I didn't either, usually my drip shields tighten up the draw, and I find that I like the tighter draw. The jury is still out on my new HH, but we'll see.
