Lab grade pipettes can have both precision and accuracy better than 0.001g (when measuring water). Overkill for e-liquids. But please, do not say that measuring by weight is more precise. More convenient? May be.
6+ months for my $16 no name clone and SMJY clone. Both are with original O-rings. Leaking possible only after 2-3 weeks of vaping with same wicks (they are aging, I suppose. Or just some mechanical movements during prolonged use). $16 clone is a bit better than SMJY.
Never tried (or even imagined it exists) such "multy-puff" technique. But 10 seconds is what I need for DL draw (for me it is 33/33/33 JM/MTL/DL, where JM=Just Mouth, no inhalation).
I agree with you. I often replace wicks (after weeks of service) because of leaking, not because of taste changes. But I think for most of vapers it's of secondary concern, because their wicks became gunked well before leaks are developed.
Do you have something like Kayfun 5 (restricted airflow)? I like it. Slow, slightly warm, long DL draw. 10 seconds till cut off do its job. Just tried it again counting Mississippies (to check if mod's timer is correct). OK, just tried to continue draw after coil was switched off. Counted 15...
I started with exactly the same thing in the beginning of 2014. Not a single cigarette since then. It worked for me for almost two months till I got a VAMO and iClear 16.
Watts in TC are different. It's just setting a speed for reaching a set temperature. Too much watts - you can get a spill. Too low - you can wait forever for coil to warm up.
I am low wattage vaper, I used TC for convenience: I did not have to monitor a juice level in a tank. Empty tank was just...
As I learned today from DIY forum there is such juice vendor: Aspen Valley Vapes. The greedy one. You can read what they posted on their site and comments of vapers:
5 Reasons Why Making Your Own DIY E-Juice Might Not Be a Good Idea
They are turning against DIY vapers, they are lying, they give...
If you will use your juices in about 3 months, no need in smaller bottles (anyway, for long term storage bigger bottles could be better). Dark place in an air conditioned room is perfect.
