I believe I am understanding what you want..
The underside of the base needs to be counter sunk to fit flush with the top of the kayfun cap.. right?
Is the diameter in the picture good? Or do you want it the same as the chimney part of the top cap?

They are identical top caps... other than the adapter as stated in your following post... its built into the cap..

I appreciate all the challenges with threaded tips... i do have the necessary parts for my lathe to attempt the crazy threads the 3.1 has finally.... they certainly in yesterday..... although I think you be happier with a tip that fits both the 3.1 as well as all the other atomizers.. the one...
Something a bit different. .
Naval brass +Nylotron
Meh tinks tis goud.
I could make this any way you would like..
Titanium as core. Htpe/white teflon..
Lines , straight, curvy. .. your choice

something like this would have to wait for my mill... that I don't have yet... ;)
the tube is not the problem... its the windows... unfortunately with a lathe I'm very limited...
things like this will be soon! Thanks J and on3fifth.. glad they made it!

maybe it would turn out to plain but 11mm from tip to base it would definitely have presence. ... look at the mod and then picture a tip with put the etching of course... I'm sure I could match the finish as well. Just need a good picture of it.

Elad500... you my friend are awesome!.. i appreciate you taking the time to explain what you see...
i do have to apologize as I always counter sink the 510 side too... i must have forgotten to do that on yours.. i am not a robot i sometimes miss a thing or two..
i always say it's not so...
Thank you... but you do know curiosity killed the cat right?... lol. I love cats . well sometimes.
Anyway.. the 2 tone bi metal titanium and naval brass are 3 machined parts that are then pressed together.. then re machined to finish.. no glue caulk or silly putty.. :D

Hey wiizy! That one on the top left is about 8mm height.. Standard 9mm diameter and titanium.. Most all of the tips are titanium.. I can brush scrub polish for different looks..
Polished gets pretty bright brushed looks much like ss and scrubbed will get the gray titanium look..
Please...
