    One of the servers was acting up and the cluster had to be rebalanced. The tech guys have ironed it out and we'll keep an eye on it.

    In order for your screenshot to show as a picture instead of a link you need to use the image tags by either clicking "insert image" on the toolbar or manually inserting the tags. It appears that the forum doesn't support dropbox linking, so try IMGUR or one of the other free image hosting services

    control panel notifications means just that, in your control panel. if you click "settings at the topof the page you'll see something like this: If there are replies you will see a list of subscribed threads with replies.

    it is built in to the forum, it is part of the core code in vBulletin. Most other forum software packages have something similar available as an option or a plugin.
