    Cigar? Anyone?

My wife and I started vaping 4 1/2 years ago. We made a deal that, every autumn time change (November), we would have a cigar out on the patio. I mean that hour doesn't count, right? 1st year it was, oh yeah, now that's what I'm talkin' about. 2nd year it's meh. 3rd year my wife snuffed it...

What's the deal with all of these oversized- large drip tips now ?

Agreed. Wide bore "chuff" tips that can't be changed out are a deal breaker for me.

    benson and hedges...

I found unflavored liquid to be the most similar to a cigarette...especially at higher nicotine levels.

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

This ^^^^ The airflow control really changes the PT II for the better. The V3 if hard to find now-a-days, but Mt Baker still has them.

New to vaping - having some real problems

I have the original subtank which came with an rba deck so you can build your own coils. I assumed that the toptank also came with one. It looks like this:

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

Do not remove the silicon ring. That creates a seal with the chimney and keeps it from leaking. Also, that does not look like a authentic Kanger coil.

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

Try it down more like 3.7 volts.

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

What mod (battery) are you using it on? What coils? What settings? What ration of liquid? The PT II is an older low wattage tank. If you are using the newer cotton wicked coils, you may have to swap in a new coil or re-wick the old one because once it burns, it's going to stay that way. The...

New to vaping - having some real problems

There is a huge difference between the toptank and the AIO. I am more of a lower wattage tootle puffer type of vaper and I fall in the same position as you. The AIO is just OK and I use it some for out and about, but it is not all that satisfying. You could try the .5ohm cubis coils, but that...

What gear do you currently have?

I exited the hobby stage some time back and entered the maintenance stage. Unfortunately, I was in the hobby stage for far too long (over 3 years). So yeah, I've got a lot of stuff. Most of that stuff is safely ensconced on the vapocolypse shelf.

Eleaf istick pico - broken tip drip

Any standard (510) drip tip should fit. It might be a bit tight or a bit loose because these things are mass produced. Also, you can change how a tank vapes by the type of tip you use. Longer=cooler ... narrow=tighter draw ... shorter=hotter ... fins=cooler ... metal? glass? plastic? ... etc.

    2017... what gear is coming?

All mods will be gold plated with a giant T on the side.

    Flying With My Vape Gear

Batteries, either loose or in mods, must be in your carry-on and safely stored in a plastic case or sleeves. Everything else is your decision and can be in either carry-on or checked baggage. Any liquid in your carry-on is limited to 30mil bottles in a baggie (and there is a limit of 100 mil...

Thinking of backtracking. Simpler times, simpler mods

I'm just getting over a bout with the flu. I found my evods, protanks and PT minis were better for my congested lungs...so yeah, there's still room for the oldies.

it's really frustrating using new set up.

Even VW devices can vary between manufacturers and the chip that's used. For instance, my IPV hits a bit harder than my Kanger on the same settings.

    COPD and confused

I'm in the same boat. I certainly have to tootle puff...subohm cloud chasing is never going to work for me. Also, I generally have to keep my vg level down at 20-30% or I get heavy fluid lungs.

    This kind of e-liquid consumption...

I use the 1.0 ohm or the 1.5 ohm clapton on the cubis. Really reduces the liquid consumption but not much decrease in vapor. I actually prefer the 0.6 ohm or the 1.0 ohm more than the clapton. I'm a MTL at 8-10 watts user.

    Why Kayfun?

I have 4 Kayfun lites clones (V1 and V2) in use right now. IMO the best MTL tank ever made. Once you get the wicking right they just never leak. More for flavor than big clouds, but they are not a slouch when in comes to vapor production. Unfortunately, these early versions are hard to find...

New here. Looking for beginner's suggestions.

This is as good a solution as any. As for liquid, almost any device can be used with any liquid. Getting the best flavor will be the hard part. If you are getting it as a gift, you might consider getting some samples to start out. Mt Baker is a good place for less expensive liquids. Heathers...

How many here do 0mg nicotine?

I vape unflavored. Went from 24mg to 3mg over 3 years with better and better equipment. Those last drops from 6mg to 3mg were the hardest. Went from 6 to 5 to 4 to 3 over the course of a year or more. I have tried 0mg with flavor and without but mentally I just can't seem to conquer the...
