I had an AW17670 in it. I've charged it up and it seems fine but I'll probably invest in some new ones, don't want to tempt fate after what happened to that guy. -

Kevin I was scared to open it after the stress it had been through. I was sure there would be melting o rings and all sorts of damage. It was so hot I couldn't believe I hadn't ruined it. After a quick clean it's all as good as new. I'm so glad I use a GG as I don't think anything else could... -
Got my GGTS and Odysseus!
A great addition to your collection, congrats. I use 18650's with mine and they last ages. I make my coils around 1.6 and it suits me fine. I know what you mean about flavour, the Ody really enhances it. After the Ody using regular atties just doesn't compare. -

I had to wrap a towel around it to get the battery out. I'm going to charge it outside to see if it still works. No sign of any damage though. I think the GG and Ody just got on with it and fired for a hour. Unbelievable. -

A quick update for anyone interested. My Golden Greek now has around 700 photos online. There have been just over 25,000 visits since I started it. The top 3 countries viewing are Germany, USA and Greece. Thanks to everyone who has posted pictures here or sent them to me. More please!:) -

Used pricing getting out of hand
The answer here is simple. 1. The price of a GG item still in production is set. If you are buying an item that will be in stock again soon it's best to wait rather than pay over the odds for a used one. Then cross your fingers you are quick enough on the day. I know it's a lottery but that's... -
