Not getting proper ohms reading on MVP3 Pro.

sounds normal to me. most coils arent directly on point as advertised, so if your mvp reads to the hundredth decimal place it'll give you a more accurate reading. The readings aren't that far off so I wouldnt worry about it. coils rattling around/heating up may change resistances over time as well.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

yeah, some tanks also have the option of running pre-built nickel coils like these Kanger Subtank Nickel OCC coils (5 Pack) - Kangertech - Accessories which you can put in a subtank. If you run those type of coils they wont work with the sigelei though, you need a temp control mod like the snowwolf.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

oh no, the sigelei 150 is theyre both dual 18650 regulated mods though, but the snowwolf has temperature control and the sigelei doesnt. temperature control is used for nickel builds. Snowwolf can run both nickel and kanthal/nichrome, while the sigelei is just used with kanthal/nichrome (no...

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

nitecore D2 is a good charger for you then. Mine has been working perfectly, I still wouldn't suggest leaving batteries in there knowing you will be away for a long time though, but ive put batteries on there and fell asleep and woke up the next morning to them fine at 4.2v.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

its a variable wattage mod, so you set it at the power you want. itll just last 2x as long as a single 18650. so like you say you like to vape at 4.2 constantly, you can set it at 4.2v (whatever watts that is) and it will keep it at 4.2v til it tells you the batteries are low. I'ts a vv/vw...

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

im not actually sure exactly what causes it, but on ECR there are a bunch of posts about it, to the point where people actually go into the mod and take out the charging port. There were also a few pictures of people IPV4's that fried and caught fire. Im not in the market for an IPV4 so i never...

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

im not familiar with how it charges but, they are recommending to not use the onboard charging on it. buncha fried/fire ipv4s due to this.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

you can pickup a sigelei 150w and call it a day. 80-90$ quality 150w dual 18650 mod. theres also the snowwolf 200w that takes 2x18650's as well, it also has temp control if you want to delve into that later, it can be had for 130$-150$, been hearing good reviews on it and have my eye on it for...

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

there has been some negative reviews and mishaps going around with the ipv4 usb charging. if you are thinking about an ipv4 id suggest you do some research on it before u purchase. If you do decide to purchase it, it's being suggested that you use external charger for your batteries for the ipv4.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

if you want battery life, get a dual 18650 regulated mod, theyre bulkier and square but they last throughout the day. I would also suggest using a smart charger (external) like a nitecore d2 charger, they automatically stop charging ur batteries at 4.2v. i find 1x18650 no matter what mah rating...

    DNA 200 Watt

yeah i read up on the vaporshark dna200 already on their facebook page, they confirm its a 3 cell user servicable LiPo in the VS. they also say 'new paint job' acid bath powdercoated etc whatever. new paint is also on their flasks.

    DNA 200 Watt

i dont like any of the mods that have the yihi chips right now. Only other option would be a custom box mod but would end up costing me ~270$+. The IPV D2 is going to be using a yihi chip which is why im eager for them to release more info on it but im not holding my breath, its been listed on...

    DNA 200 Watt

yep it isn't for me. I was hoping for something different from evolv as I love their DNA40 chip in my vaporshark, but 40w isnt as much as I'd like for my builds (0.3-0.5). Looks like ill be sticking to the Snowwolf for my TC mod upgrade, or if P4U releases more details on their IPV D2 TC mod...

    DNA 200 Watt

maybe itll perform well, but I would have rather preferred something with user-changeable batteries and compact (2x18650 mods are pretty big already). Even if it did perform well, I wouldnt buy a big chunky 3x18650 mod. I'm not here arguing about the performance of the mods, im just against the...

    DNA 200 Watt

when it goes over 150W I think, its a controlled 'pulse firing'. to be honest it seems like dna200 is tryign to do too much with one package. I'ts not going to be temp controlled up to 200w is it? If they wanted to get into the watts war they should have just made a refined 70-100w temp control...

    DNA 200 Watt

thats crazy. I've seen some triple 18650 mods but theyre mainly unregulated and huge already, add the dna200 board in there and thats a monster size mod lol.
