    I was trying rubber bands before I tried the tape. I just couldn't get them to move. The rubber bands were slipping off. I did try it since I've used that trick before for other stuck things. It's a good suggestion

    Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm soaking it right now. I pulled out the electrical tape too. The ring isn't reverse threaded or anything is it? The bottom of the button (non locking ring piece) should be turned counter clockwise to loosen, correct?

    Man, I'm having the same issue with the locking switch on my new lux. I can't lock it. It was OK for a few days and now I can't budge it. I've tried the freezer and hot water thing. Can't get the locking ring loose. Anyone have any other suggestions?

    You got one Aaron????? That's awesome. All I can suggest is buying the standard resistance punched cartos from ENS. I had great luck with them. Or, if you can find a flangeless diver that is the standard carto size go for that. Follow the BB thread. Lots of development on rebuildable cartos...

    I would also like to add, I just checked the ENS site, and on the home page there is a new BANNER advertising the Zenesis2. Sadly, gunmetals are not up, but the banner says "avalible now Zenesis 2" TYPO ALERT. Someone might want to go spell check that one.
