Awesome, now how do we get everyone to do it? Funny how this thread went form removing "threads" as in battery connectors to removing "threads" that are repeated over and over , LOL

That is just incredible caesar, you made the nicostick a pro mod at all levels. The JS was left behind in the dust! :D Hope to see more mods from you in the future.

    removing threading

Yes, if you know the author its simple , what I mean is when you look for something you know you saw but don't remember the author or the name or the thread. Anyway, maybe it's just me as I mentioned earlier, but how come there are so many threads started by people that can't find what they...

And how is anyone supposed to remember all that? if I am looking for something I vaguely remember like a little water pipe mod tinear made, and suppose I don't remember tinear made it? Try it and you will see what I mean. Search: water pipe, small water pipe, water pipe mod ,etc, and I bet...

    removing threading

:lol::lol: Burnie, That is exactly the problem, you get 70 results and 68 have either nothing to do or just mention lets say "remove", quoting does work in google but does not very well here. Just try to find right now the thread I posted called "nice looking box mod" without knowing the...

You are not blind Hinterscher, the search feature really does not work, and if it does someone needs to explain a lot of things about it. I can't even find my own posts if I use search. The way I try to navigate is by checking peoples profiles, but that is because I know who posted what...

    In the works"The QUAD Threat"

You would need a coffin to fit that switch! 8-o, and $15  That is more than the average total cost of 95% of mods in the forum. 8-o8-o

Can anyone advise me on a USB power pack purchase?

I wonder how is she supposed to understand that technical info? whatagem, the point here is you will not get enough power with the $20 power supply since it is only 500 mA, you need at least 1000 mA, not to be confused with mAh. The one I posted a link to is 1000 mA, the kensington is 1500 mA...

Help. Laptop battery gutted for Parts

I am not sure what thread of mine you read (there are 4 or 5 related), but this is where you will find pics that explain by themselves. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/25949-pvma-no-more-worries-batt-connectors-post407347-7.html :)

Help. Laptop battery gutted for Parts

It would make no sense to have individually protected cells when it is much cheaper for them to use one single circuit in the battery pack for all of them. I also salvaged 8 x 18500 unprotected batteries from a Sony notebook and have had no problems as long as I use a charger designed for...

    US Sources for 16340 ....

Who would use non rechargeable batteries for a mod anyway? Even using the factory auto batteries would end up being cheaper. Also...prices on that website for anything are pretty scary. http://www.surefire.com/

    Mod of a mod??

A lifetime of frying atomizers or a lifetime of sitting in a drawer. :p Just do what I did and you won't have to fight the cable anymore and will really have a great long lasting pass-through. :)

    Trustfire 14500

Replace that cable for an RCA jack and you will be able to use a single RCA cable that is very light and will not force your mod off your desk ;) That is how i have all of mine and works great, besides i don't have to have a cable hanging from my box when i want to use it with a battery.

    Mod of a mod??

No battery in the nicostick, the PC USB will supply what is needed. I don't even know what would happen if you leave the battery in there, sounds kinda dangerous to do so and no need to do it. There are several threads posted on passthroughs built on a nicostick, just need to find them. (not...
