It can add up really quickly, but its still much cheaper now than it was even a few years back.. Its also a hobby similar to golf, in that you can get incredibly frustrated with it, but those few good moments keep you coming back for more...- Vapor2112

Go with a 4 channel, preferably with BNF (bind and fly). If you decide you like it and what another, the same radio can be bound to a new toy. Pretty sure most of the decent new ones will work with a heli or plane. FWIW, the simulators are fantastic. RealFlight in particular. I learned on an...- Vapor2112

Everyone tends to equate Genesis with Hybrid, but from the perspective of being meant and machined to go together, yes, I suppose GGTS and Ody can fall into that class. -

Both. :) I use my GGTS with an Ody for out and about when non-leaking is a must. Everything else is genesis style for me. -

Never had any problems either, just make sure the wick is "fat" enough to fill it completely and it should help keep some tension on it.- Vapor2112

My impression is that it would be the same color and finish as the Sidewinder. Not 100% confirmed yet, but that's the rumor. Similarly, a BAM II with the same black finish as the Sidewinder as well.- Vapor2112
