7 ml. Ideally rewick once or twice a week of continuous use, new coil once a month of continuous use. Fresh wick and coil seem to promote throat hit. Typical build lately is 26 AWG, 420F, 25 max watts. DIY uses 1% flavoring, no sweeteners.

Detroit News: Flavored tobacco ban treats adults like kids

4 years ago I would have predicted most of the vape speciality shops would be gone and most vapers would be mixing and the newbies would be switching at tobacco shops that sell vape and tobacco products. I was wrong. I'm wondering if the coronavirus panic will calm down the ecig panic and...

    Update from Fast Tech

I got an order shipped from FT just before the holiday deadline that will probably arrive Monday. I've got some stuff qued up in an FT cart that will wait until FT restarts. Then I have a return issue that will be delayed because of this trouble. I'm taking the corona threat seriously. When...

NY Senate backs off flavored e-cigarette ban

I hope this reflects political clout of vapers. If there are 400,000 vapers in Michigan there must be many more in NY. I'm sure we can and we will be politically active. Elected politicians don't need thousands of angry voters in their districts.

    Are you done stocking up?

I ordered from FT January 16th. The message on the USPS tracking page remains, "Pre-Shipment Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". I've never seeen that message for this length of time. It's possible the package didn't get scanned but is making progress.

SO - What is going to happen ?

Am I recalling correctly the FDA has already said they don't plan on restricting flavorings before they are added to commercial liquid? How would it be different for PG and VG? And if those three are not covered how do they distinguish nicotine? I don't know the answers but the FDA probably does.

Yahoo: Yahoo reporter establishes that Blu/Juul cause Lung Injury

Total BS articles like this appear more often lately. My be the psychology is that if you think something is totally evil it's excusable to tell outrageous lies that literally no one believes because your tribe will overlook that you are a liar and the people who disagree are too ashamed to...

SO - What is going to happen ?

They have given an opening to write and ask about nic for mixing. That should happen. I wonder, if a particular eliquid is approved it's manufacture could be licensed. Could it be licensed to shops? Sell them an approved all-in-one flavor and let them have the profits from mixing. It might...

SO - What is going to happen ?

Nude Nicotine has disclosed they filed a PMTA. If it is accepted by the FDA then their products should remain for sale for a year beyond May, assuming Congress doesn't interfere.

Stocked and Ready for whatever :)

If the FDA accepts nude nicotine's application they should be able too continue selling nic (assuming Congress doesn't impose a confiscatory tax). For me that means may be in 12 or 18 months I'll get some nic to top off my supply. I have enough supplies for my time frame even though I might...

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

My last batch was 1000 ml. PG, VG, and nic measured on a digital kitchen scale, 1% flavoring in a 10 ml cylinder. Less cleanup. The 1000 ml bottle is in the freezer, a 5 month supply. It refills a 240 ml squeeze bottle which refills a 20 ml bottle for carrying. I use an android app called...

    Are you done stocking up?

Up to now I avoided tanks because I don't like glass and my SV rda's were getting the job done. But an MTL tank with 4+ ml capacity is an option I might want in the future. The Berserker 24mm has not leaked a drop so far and there is an accessory kit with a PEI replacement tank for the 4.5 ml...

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

I never make less than 200 ml in a batch. Only use I have for syringes now is refilling a pod cartridge. I seem to have lost interest in the pods.

The Final Count Down -- Are You Ready?

I've learned to pour the liquids directly from one bottle to another for mixing and decanting. You might practice by pouring vg or pg with no nic or flavor in the mix. Then pour the liquid back into the original bottle and try again. I'm glad I don't need wide mouth bottles or funnels.

    Bargain Bin Treasures!

One way to sometimes track down deals shown here without the source is vapecrawler. Often their low prices are out of date but not always. I'm being patient and cautious. Once upon a time I had a boutique manufacturing business. It's not going to be easy for the vape hardware manufacturers...

Stocked and Ready for whatever :)

Back in '16 I assumed limits on access to products was unlikely but I should have a stockpile for peace of mind. First I picked a time frame, 10 years. Then predicted that a mod or atomizer should last 2 years of continuous use so stash 5 of each. But just in case the prediction is too...

    Are you done stocking up?

I eat low carb whole food. I can pack the freezer with beef and salmon, the frig with eggs and whipping cream (for coffee), and about 10 days of salad veggies. I'll get extra olive oil but only know how to use it in salad dressing. I'm reluctant to stockpile things I don't eat. I won't run...

    Are you done stocking up?

My plan, if the virus gets into my neighborhood, is to just stay home for the duration. I'm retirement mode and living alone. Need to figure out how too have 30 days food on hand.

    Are you done stocking up?

Thanks, I'll look for that size on FT and try to toss them in with the next order. I could get screws anytime in the future but it would be nice to have spares for wear and tear and especially if they are higher quality than most of the originals.

    Are you done stocking up?

Fasttech sells the tiny screws used for trapping wire on build decks. Seems prudent to have some including for replacing screws before the head might strip. Has anyone bought these and may be know which ones are most commonly used? So far I haven't found an assortment being offered. FastTech...
