    ABSOLUTELY TOSS THEM !!! Once a IMR type cell is charged over 4.23v it's as good as dead, and possibly unstable. If it got warm enough to feel and charged over 4.23v you never want to use it again. Just not safe. I hope you do/did completely discard the charger also, it's no good.

    Maybe try a very very small drop of Gorilla Glue in 2 places on the top cap 180 degrees opposite of each other. Just have a warm wet cloth ready to wipe any excess that may mushroom out when you press it back in and be very fast and very careful with the cloth to keep any excess from getting on...
