    One of the BEST $3 dollar products out there is a "SEALED" 510 to 510 "shorty" adapter or extension. Screw it on, leave it,,,never take it off...if the threads ever get messed up you unscrew it , put on another $3 adapter instead of a whole new mod/device. Not to mention keeps your device...
