I agree with this method, when I rebuild mine with cotton I always leave the top strands out. At first when I was putting the top strands on I was not getting proper wicking and a burnt taste. After removing them all is well. Much better flavor.
In my limited experience with them, only need to rewind a coil if it burns open due to a hot spot. If built properly it will last a long time. You can even clean the coil and change juices by heating it up and dripping a few small drops of cold water on the heated coil.
This exactly, in my experience the postal service is terrible about updating the status and it's not instant like UPS or Fed-Ex. Just hang in there and I bet you'll have it today or tomorrow.
Can you get a hold of the lower portion of it with a pair of small needle nose pliers? Not the center post but the small ring at the bottom of the broken carto? Also make sure that the battery is out while working with it.

Hi guys, I'm very new to modding. but I read a very helpful tip about the dna20d and it's fragile ribbon cable. Drop a small drop of super glue between the ribbon cable and the board itself and it'l help take the stress of the solder joints.
