If @vexx is still around or still cares: I have 22ga in 2 rda right now and I don't notice any less flavor compared to my rda that has 26/36 ss clapton.
@the wind SS is all I vape. For many months now it has been all pre-spooled clapton but I have started going back to using plain round wire...
I haven't used cotton in over a year but I get 100 - 150ml per rayon wick (some other rayon users go even longer) with my DIY that generally has no sweetener. If I do use sweetener it is only 0.5% of Now Glycerite Stevia.

More likely other factors at play or just bad luck. IIRC pneumonia can only be passed to you from someone that has it, so unless they coughed/sneezed all over your vape DIY gear it is most likely some other factor in your daily life. I have been vaping 2 years and DIY for over a year and...

I use whichever RDA I have on hand.
As to your original issue that caused this, I don't do fancy printer labels, I just use blue painters tape and a ultra fine point sharpy marker. The sharpy marks will slowly wear if used on the daily 30ml bottles that you touch a lot but it is a slow enough...
that is the main reason I want it (4 of them to start). I have 4 of the v1 on my desk right now and they are so tall that the ones on my taller mods get in the way of my monitors when sitting up at desk level working.
