    Do not despair ! I have had that happen several times, and not even when dropped ! I just use a very little bitty drip of super glue on the edge of the cap in about 3 places and then set it back in and hold it until it "takes". As with all used of Super Glue or equivalent, just be careful...

    My 510 drowned HELP!!!!!!

    I have saved two 510 batteries from watery graves by doing "dry of and then baggie with rice" treatment. the real key to saving any electronic item from water damage, or so I am told, is to NOT activate it until it's dry. Wish you good luck.
