Aluminum threads? Are they that much of a nightmare? Your thoughts!
If these threads are on a 510 connection dont use the aluminum , the 510 thread is a M7x.5mm thread it is really fine and will strip If you are talking about the battery cap threads alwasy try to have dis-similar metals , the same metal type will tend to GALL or eat itself , brass on aluminum...- BuzzKill

The Powerizers are by FAR the best I have ever used / tested , I have a set from WAYYY back when I first tested them and they are still strong !! thye are worth the extra few bucks. -

ok an update, the new device is in Beta production right now ( waiting on a few parts ) it is 18mm ( .72 " )in diameter and 120mm ( 4,25 " ) long it is brushed stainless steel with chrome top and bottom caps , 510 top cap that is FLUSH ! it uses 2 x 16340 batts , and has a navigation switch to... -

Confused about 15 watt claim on VV grand
The MFG spec is 2 amps BUT it will supply 3 amps at 5.5 volts , this has been tested to death ! most MFG under rate devices like this , in fact it can output 6.0 volts if setup to do that. FYI -
