    You can happily use any topper you like providing it takes it's airflow in a way that the mech will allow. My mechs are still in constant use with Kay-fun tanks on top

    Phenom VA are beautiful, I have 2 but the threading is hard to catch because of the double thread design. The locking ring on the switch can wear out due to multiple attempts trying too catch the threads-pity :( Good luck, sure you'll find something you love...take your time and do the research.

    Whatever else you decide you might as well grab one of these anyways as you already seem inclined. they go for $43, do 250 watts with the firmware update 4.1 and the skins selection is ridiculous!     Most likely you need to extract the rest of the base parts from the atomizer deck and will find #9 came loose and then off releasing all the parts. Just use pliers to extract the rest of the base from #17 and rebuild the base making sure #9 is tight.

    Just so you know I made a discovery last night about this thing. The lens (it turns out), which I assumed to be made of glass (very convincing). turns out to be plastic. Yep, placed a hot coil on it to allow to cool off as I do with my hand held magnifier and it stuck to it!!!!! chit.
