I mentioned in an earlier post that a straight stainless drip tip inserted in to a Boge and with the same diameter as the carto works flawlessly to extend the barrel length... No muss no fuss fix to use a Boge in a DC tank... Just be careful not to distort the Boge when punching if you have...
Hey gang... A while back I posted a comment that the SmartVapes 510 Dripping atties did not work on the XL... Played and fiddled with them but know luck still... Sucks because they are a great atty and for $5.65 ea or $5.25 for a 5 pack great bang for your buck... I got some great news...
Purely beng a smart *ss here... If I didn't know better based on some of your comments on the quality of the LT... I would guess you set out to break it and once you did you found it to not be warrantied after contacting Volcano... Then you thought "oh crap, what do I do know"... Then you...
I don't have one "yet" but judging from the 700mah rating of the AW IMR that I would probably use in it I would guess from 1/2 to 3/4 of a day... But that would also be dependent on what voltage you use... Running the mini at say 5.5v will put significantly more drain on the battery than say...
Answer to your question: Most any 3.0ohm atty will work well...
Reason: You will have VV at your disposal... You can basically take any 3ohm atty and adjust to your liking...
I have only used 2 with my LT... A Volcano branded one and a Smartvapes dripping atty... So far I am most impressed...
I suggest skipping the ego if you are already thinking you want to go big... I spent close to a "C"-note on my ego stuff just to shelve it less than a month later for my first mod... If you want better battery life but staying stealthy ego style is fine... I would suggest Kgo, Inferno, or Riva...
A little tip I picked up from a Vaping Monkey review... You can use a Boge or any standard length carto in a DCT by using a long straight stainless steal drip tip... Simply insert the straight drip tip in the carto and insert in the tank since the drip tip and carto are the same diameter...
Moofaso... Agree to what you said previous about the Cylon batteries not being AW's... Cheers...
I was raising a red flag about the second kit you posted appears to have the exact same battery that was passed along as the fake AW IMR flat top battery Volcano got scammed on. We all know if it is...
@Moofaso.... The combination of you comment and my quote might give the impression I was giving Electronicstixs a bad wrap which I was not... I have had nothing but stellar service from Electronicstixs... I was referring to the seller of the Power Tube as having some negative comments about them...
I don't want to confuse people the Cylon kit from Jason at Electronicstixs "DOES NOT" come with the fake IMR's it has the generic pink imrs that were sold in kits not distributed by volcano... Aslo the Electronicstix self named IMR are not fakes as well...
The Power tube Kit does appear to have...
To my understanding Volcano has exclusivity to the name of the Lavatube... Which also was suppose include distribution in the US but I guess that isn't so since those are not the first VV tubes I have seen on the web... The galaxy was the first non Volcano US sold VV tube that I saw...
This one appears to have the fake AW IMR's with the sticker removed that volcano was sold which are unprotected Li-ion batts in the kit... Also the web site has had some less then stellar comments on other parts of the forum...
I would start with just widening the existing holes... I heard a circling a large safety pin or large sewing needle will do the trick...
I would recommend a little at a time regardless... Would not want to go overboard and end up making it to airy of a draw especialy if it is a rare gem like an...
Feather your draw.... Hold the button for 5,6,7 or 9 seconds and release then press again and continue to vape.... Takes a little practice but easily accomplished.... You could get an 18 second draw if you time it right....
HTH
Cheers...
+3 or whatever on the Vmod XL... None of the flaws of the original... 18650 with low internal resistance lasts for ever with a 9ml juice bottle... Plus you can use most any atty/carto in it unlike its predecessor and the curved edges are very comfy in the hand... Not to mention the various...
