    So far the hammered/flattened wire is working well. I also have production rectangular wire as well as ribbon. My understanding is that cold forging the wire changes it's properties in a positive way. It's definitely more dense. Not exactly sure what that's supposed to do in the vaping arena...

    I normally wrap so that the coil legs are as you describe. They're only upside down because I wrapped a machine screw to get good spacing and unless you use a left hand thread screw, it causes the legs to be opposite of normal.     The sample is a 15 mg bottle of 100mg/ml nic salts in 100% VG. $2.75 is a pretty good deal for enough to actually try. I use 10.8 ml of USP Nic to make 30 ml of 36 mg juice. Should be plenty to make a 30 ml bottle of DIY of at least 36 mg. Charles
