With the Holiday I am sure it is not a misprint :) There will be more tomorrow(Monday) I am going on a trip that way to drop some off to Rob :) Hopefully he will have them listed on the site that evening, you never know shutting down for a day can really make for a busy day returning.
These are high quality switches with gold plated contacts, I don't think that should be an issue :) The only way I could check would be to split one, I split one a long time ago to see how they function.
The switch on the BB is a sealed mechanical switch. It uses solder lugs to make the connection. Most of the larger pushbutton switches are mechanical, they connect to the circuit via wires :)
Sounds like the insulator is toasted. After it sets a little while it is firm(cold) after a few hits it heats up and grounds out, tripping the battery protection circuit. I will reply to the ticket you submitted with my address for repair.
The 510 connection is sealed. However, for that seal to be achieved there has to be pressure from the atomizer on it. It is rather a mystery how liquid gets into some places that is least suspected :). What battery setup are you using? What is the age of the batteries?
Not really an option, the 801 requres a 2mm stem below the connector. I made a total of 8 on the SB ever way back in July 2009. I remember repairing 2 of them. If i recall corectly I intalled 801 adapters onto the repaired one....
Guess I can't please everyone
If I were to make a drip well on any of my devices it would only be available in chrome.
Actually it would be on them all, not sure how well the powder coated ones would hold up :)
