    PTR08100W Mod Box

    This is my newest mod with cell phone battery's and the PTR08100W voltage regulator.Wish my phone took better pics. There is two LED's one lights up when i fire it and one when i charge it . And a switch for atty off charge mode or on for vaping.

    On-the-Go! I just take my eGo 900mah battery with a 510 atty and cart put it in my cigar tube so i can put in my pocket, and i have a small oval eye dropper bottle 4ml and just top off when needed i am good for the hole day.

    Yeah sounds like you got some bad atty's! I have two atty's been using them @ 3.8 volts for two months now and they are still working like new.

    The only way I know that might work is to take the circuit board out of a battery with a 10 second cut off and hook it up in your mod.

    At the Smoore's site for the x-power 900mah battery is rated @ 3.7v like the eGo you did not say what kind of atty you are using. And the M301& 601 Battery's are listed @ 3.7v I don't know what Ohm's the 301& 601 attys are rated at, but the 510 atty's LR 1.5 Ohm's you don't want to go over 3.7V...

    X power battery's are 3.7 volts no they will not burn out your attys. like an eGo with differrent threads.

    I had 510 battery do that to me i took it apart and battery was still good so it must have been one of the circuits on the board had gone bad. Sounds like that is what has happen to yours.

    Did you try cleaning the batterys and charger contacks with some alcohol. clean charger when turned off.

    All my stock attys read 2.5/2.6 Ohms The lower the Ohms the hotter the atty same for cartos, just use the ones you like on the eGo The eGo puts out the same 3.7 volts but has a highter Mah so it will last longer before needing a charge.
