At the Smoore's site for the x-power 900mah battery is rated @ 3.7v like the eGo you did not say what kind of atty you are using. And the M301& 601 Battery's are listed @ 3.7v I don't know what Ohm's the 301& 601 attys are rated at, but the 510 atty's LR 1.5 Ohm's you don't want to go over 3.7V the 510 @ 2.5 Ohm's atty's work well @ 4.7V. So i can't see you having any problems with 301 or 601 atty's and 510 atty's.

Just measured an Xpower900 battery fully charged, 3.2v unloaded.
If a standard atomizer is attached I'm sure that the voltage will drop at least .5v depending on the resistance of the atty.
There should be no danger of popping attys at these voltages.
When I dry burn a standard atty, the Xpower900 battery barely keeps the coil orange.
Been vaping the same atomizer (LiteCigUSA) for about three months now.
My first two atomizers (Onlyecig) that came with my PV both burned out at 6 days.

Thanks for the replies, I actually smoked 6 cigs for the first time in almost a year after breaking the 10th one. Got some more (m-301 atomizers) getting here today hopefully. Seems to be a battery problem, maybe shorted interneally? That's great to hear you're using them at 3.8 volts. I have been looking at variable voltage mods and wasn't sure if I could even use these at 3.7.
