I thought about epoxy as well. I also have some high temp adhesive stuff I could try. I just don't want any toxic fumes coming off of it when I'm done.
Might just say to heck with it and order another. These were cheap little clones so not a big deal.
Maybe this is the right place to put this but maybe not?? I dunno.
Anyway, I just bought my wife and I each a little Derringer clone from eBay. Hers is stainless steel and very well made. I ordered mine in black and it's mostly delrin plastic except for the base. Both came from the same seller...
Ok. I looked up the Tesla 2 just because I wasn't familiar with it. It looks basically like a mechanical mod in box form. You should be OK there.

I think you must have skimmed over a few parts because it sounds like you're missing a few key things.
1) Supporting local business is not a "hipster thing to do." Loss of small business is one of the large reasons our economy is being crushed today. I'm not going to go into a rant about that...
Glad you got it sorted out and found something that works before anything really bad happened. If that guy is running or working in a vape shop, I'd report him if I were you. His negligence could really end up getting someone hurt.
