    Ss wire, taste?

    I have some of this same brand wire in 26/32 on the way, thanks for the warning. My other SS wire seems to have a purer taste than kanthal but it's not wound anything. I'm going to soak my first lengths in 90% alcohol before I do anything with it and see if it helps

    I forgot to say, with vertical coils in the supreme, I wick through the middle of the coil and the more cotton left on top of the coils, the tighter the draw and so more flavor, in my opinion

    Sometimes I use the largest air slot but closed down to more of a circle, I get good flavor and tighter draw this way, somewhat like my Griffins. Agree about vertical coil for flavor. With the biggest air slot closed down to a circle, my vertical claptons look to be right in the middle anyway...

    SeniorBoy, what do you mean by poke the juice holes? I may be missing this step, may be my problem. My liquids are 85-90% VG. I also see some rough edges/burrs inside the juice channels, I was thinking that might be an issue but now I'll have to try poking the juice holes...can you elaborate...

    I've been using a griffin actually, works perfectly after I watched a tutorial on poking an air channel into the wick. Heaven didn't help me, a poster on this forum did. Same for EJ helping me with burping my Supreme. That's why I use this forum, people with experience and useful information...

    Burping it works (I'd never tried that before reading your post, so thank you!) or what I do sometimes, cover the airholes tight and take a couple hard pulls. Even that doesnt fix the vacuum though, just forces liquid down... I use liquid that's around 90% VG, wicking is always a.... Struggle...

    My Supreme works great except air bubbles get stuck in the juice flow holes, so it doesn't feed juice to the bottom as I vape... Anyone else see this happen?
