    No problem! Buspar (buspirone) acts on serotonin and a bit of dopamine, so you'd definitely be switching strategies by trying kava instead. Just don't take them at the same time -- Buspar is metabolized by CYP3A4 in the liver so kava could really increase your blood concentrations of Buspar...
