1 Should not have to take the DNA box apart to do anything but change batteries. I have a DNA 30 that i modified with a magnet back. Makes it easier. Quicker to change than charge them.
2 The Aspire will go on any 510 connector including the DNA 40.
3 Don't know I have the...
In addition to what Sate O said Use Organic Japanese Cotton. Best wicking material I have found to date and I've tried everything from Ceramic, SS mesh, Rayon plain cotton etc. Except for Hemp rope and SS rope. Best longest lasting wick to date. IMHO. Oh another Option if you have the...
When you post in Ask the Vet. Need to post more info as you can't answer any questions we might have like the one above. Pics help. Info like which box mod and where you plan on using it.
Ops you did not say you had done rebuilding before. Sorry about to keep a promise and hop on a soap box. Make sure you have a good working knowledge of OHMS LAW. Because if you break it you could have a bad day. Must also have a good understanding of battery safety. First never buy a...
Depends on the coil. Most repairables can't handle higher wattage with the exception of Dual coils models and even they have a relatively low wattage (below 30 watts). The coils in Repariables will fry pretty easy thin wire and not that great wick material with the exception of the Atlantis...
I have not used them so far. I got a lot of RDA's My fav so far has been my Tobh's both 22mm and 28mm, my Dodge with the wide mouth and my Big dripper which is a hybrid of a sort. His a dripper base and a tank on top that you can pump juice into the dripper area. Love them all. Only thing...
Not a short but an open. Dirty contacts or threads on the mod or maybe the 510 connector. If you have a Volt ohm meter you can check easy enough if not Radio Shack has inexpensive ones.
Tanks do not like High VG juice. Best thing for VG juice is dripper. They make disposable drip atomizers and Rebuildable drip atomizers. Unless you are use to building them I'd go with the disposable. If you want to get into rebuilding you need a good working knowledge of Ohms law an...
I think they are overpriced. I've had one like the 1 year warranty and I had a one year extension. But for the price you could buy a few of the other mods.
I never go over 40 watts I don't have the Atlantis but I do have the Kanger Subtank and it works great my box mods but it has a 30 watt limit on the .5 ohms and a 25 watt limit in the `1.2 ohm. I bet the Atlantis has something similar.
Oh forgot to recommend some tools. Tweezers preferably the kind with a ceramic tip so you can shape a coil or fix a hot spot with power applied and the coil hot. Beyond that a regular pair of tweezers, cutters which can be a nail clipper if need be and various size small screwdrivers and...
OK make sure you have done your homework. You need a good working knowledge of Ohms law. You make a mistake and draw to much current and you could have a bad day and if your lucky the battery(ies) vent and you have to toss them/it. Also need to know battery safety. Make sure the battery...
I prefer to use a box mod you can get a regulated or a mech like box mod. Box mods can have more than one battery which allows for longer use and if in parallel higher amperage/watts. I have both. I'f got a DIY dual parallel that I run the atty at .4 ohms and it's not a really large cloud...
Would help to know what atomizer it is, the diameter of the coil, the style of coil and your wick material. Could be a few things. First thing that comes to mind is a bad wick material or the coil diameter is two small or not enough wraps of the coil(S) or there are not enough twist in the...
That is just a Twist type Mod. It will hold any atomizer as long as it has an EGO or 510 connector. I do not recognize the brand. But most twists are alike.
