    Personally I think Aspire and now Kanger both have screwed up with this closed wick area idea. I feel the better was the v1-3 Protank heads.     Oh by holes have to be at the same level i am saying on each post they have to be perfectly perpendicular to the shaft or the screw will cut the wire when you tighten it also that hole should be the bottom of the thread for the screw or the wire will get cut when the screw is tightened.

    Short answer yes. Higher voltage = higher wattage/heat. But if the wick system is good and can keep up probably not. If your getting dry hits (heat w/o vapor) then it will. Heating and cooling the coil oxidizes it so the coil will suffer.

    Any glue that is not food grade would not be recommended. JB weld is heat rated but not food grade. What RDA is that. May be able to come up with a better solution than glue.
