And though many people bemoan how this country is apparently going to hell in a handbasket because "all our rights are being taken away" fail to notice how many more rights - and protections - we have now than in the past. The right to fair wages (or at least minimum wage), the right for blacks...

This. People say "Well, but people fart" and "well, people take insulin and nobody says anything about THAT..." People. Please. Let's be grown-ups. How could bodily functions and sincere, fatal if not treated medical conditions compare with taking a hit to satisfy a habit/addiction?

Hmmm. The overweight? Please feel free to substitute "the overweight" for all of the above... Oh it's been tried and is ongoing, per my example. And it's quite successful, even to the point of increased insurance rates.

I think part of this whole mess may be the whole "It's time to take our freedom back!" thing (yes, Blu, I'm talkin' to you...) Personally, I adopted vaping for my own pleasure and for health (v. taking cigarettes back up again). It had NOTHING to do with making a huge stand and putting my hands...

There is something we need to wait for. Studies. More than we currently have (which is few). We can then promote them and get real information (not Bastille-storming) out there. We can't go storming on Washington saying "I feel like it!" and have them keep saying "There aren't enough studies...

I don't think the bolded is necessarily true. I think it's more an issue of: vaping is new. We don't know all that much about it yet. Therefore, perhaps some of us don't know where we stand yet on certain specifics. And if we don't know, then surely non-vapers don't know either...so we're...
