    Nice thing about wire welders like this is you can make your wires to the exact resistance that you like. Ready wires you're limited to whatever resistance is available.

    The Kick 2 in a Reo Grand

    I wouldn't mind seeing a VV grand retrofitted to use the kick2 instead of its current internals and have it run an 18650. Would that even fit?

    You can use anything as long as your setup is wicking properly. If your cotton is turning black and taste is poor, it's probably not wicking enough and you're just burning your wick, hence the bad taste.
