    No, simply that they'll want to find something else if A isn't providing the stimulation. The point is that addicts always start somewhere, from exposure to a usualy "minor" stimulation.... it doesn't need to be alcohol or drugs, just a starting point... something usually "accessible" at first...

    From this post, I'd say no you don't... First addiction is never "a funny thing", someone that's seen it's effect would never state it "funny" regardless of the point they are going with. Every person and addiction is different, it's all about the trigger to that person's brain/system/pleasure...
