After seeing the responses here, I think i know what the issue is... The ATTY in the EVOD comes down too low to allow the tank to screw all the way down. When I try the atty housing wihtout an atty in it, the adapter screws down further. So my conclusion would be that the adapter is too... -

Personally, I'd go with the black. I think the large silver cap on the black would be too jarring visually. That's just my opinion though. -

Decided to order some items from ProVape for my new Mini: pila 2-battery charger, a 510-Ego adaptor and a steel drip tip. The 510-Ego adaptor is simply not machined well. My EVOD / ProTank Mini tanks only screw down about 3/4 of a turn and are loose. It's not at all what I was expecting given... -
