Ahh, you make an excellent point! So short screw for the ground is better because it makes wrapping your coil easier and b/c it feels more secure when you lock it in, but the longer thumb screw is better for the fill hole b/c it makes it easier to remove it/put it back in when you're refilling...- rwechsler

Well if you're taking Dspin's advice on polishing then you should be golden! Dspin gave me the same suggestion and my only complaint is that I didn't buy Sharkhide sooner. Best metal polish I've tried by far. While it works pretty well on SS, there's really nothing better for aluminum and brass.- rwechsler

The mini DID and Gemini really aren't that much harder to setup than the standard/shorty DID, don't let the small top cap intimidate you! Because the diameter of the + post nuts are so much thinner than those of the standard DID, I've found that it's actually a little bit easier to position the...- rwechsler

Steer clear of harsh fluorescent lighting, and instead opt to take your photos outside or even by a window. Now D manages to take flawless photos from what feels like every...- rwechsler

Hmm, I've found that thicker R wires are actually easier to wrap without getting any hotspots than thinner wires, and 30 is actually the easiest for me. In general, I find that annealing my kanthal with a torch before wrapping it not only makes it much more pliable and malleable when adjusting...- rwechsler

This is the stealth vape I have with me on my trip to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Istanbul. It's my polished slant top P+16 with a 1.7Ω mini carto and a shorty contoured Super T drip tip rocking some Pluid and an AW IMR 16340. "Stealth" probably isn't the right word considering you can smell the Pluid...- rwechsler

what a difference the type of wrap affects the flavor
Damn, I haven't wrapped a coil with anything thinner than 32g in quite some time, but I think I'll give it another go when I get back from my trip. For some reason, the thinner wires seem to actually hold up better at high wattages than thick wires, not to mention they seem to gunk up a little... -

That's what I've got going in my Pene right now, but I haven't taken it past 3.7v yet, but I can imagine that it'd blow some gnarly clouds at 6 or 7.4v, it's just a matter of seasoning the coil to function properly at higher voltages. I think Imeo is using something different altogether...
