    Hmmm, that worries me... When I get my shipment of the airstones in from petsmart, I'm going to try making a hollow ceramic wick. I think that'll help it flow a little bit better.

    DO NOT USE THE PETCO BRAND AIRSTONES! I tested all 4 different variants that they had and all of them turned white and crumbled when torched!

    I don't measure my mesh before I roll my wicks, but the wick that I have going right now is around 5 layers of #500 mesh. Even with a fully charged MNKE IMR 18650, I get absolutely zero juice burning.

    I stayed right around 16W while I was using 30g (3/2 wrap, c. 0.9Ω), but I just keep pushing it and pushing it as I find thicker resistance wires. I think you're really going to enjoy the 28g though, it gives you a lot more flexibility as far as the number of wraps you can sqeeze onto a wick...
