    Felt like I should add in this thread too that my intermittent problem seems to have been caused by a little tarnish on the threads on the endcap and inside the barrel. I hit them with a silver polishing cloth, which emerged covered in black -- and the V2 hasn't had a fail in 2 days. It's back...
