    Ya know that sounds about right, overdrawing current. Because the battery stays nice and cool, and the DNA gets hotter than a ..... I've experienced a dead short with a battery and it does NOT stay cool.

    Thanks, it's a wood mod. There is no way i have a short between the pos/neg terminals. My solder joints are seperate and strong. It seems as though there is a short within the chip. I am stumped. At this point after all the troubleshooting I have done I am pointing the fault at the chips...

    I solved my issue by removing the negative screw when filling, however I must add... I really wish I didn't have to do that :lol: ce la vi, it's better than carto tanks.

    Yes, it should allow charging. I would suggest finding a pipe you may want to mod and doing some r&d with it. Measure things, and make a decision on battery size, connector etc. one of the main headaches with pipe mods is switch type/placement. The ego option isn't bad, but with some imagination...

    Or a bench grinder and a electric drill, but a file will do the same thing, just might take an extra minute per screw. I used my grinder to make points on a couple bolts for a set of custom chuck jaws I made for my wood lathe, took all of 30 seconds per screw lol. My bench grinder went south...
