Keep us posted, I'm curious...
You should double check rings making sure Pyrex joint isn't the issue. It sounds like issues faced time to time with moonshot and ijoy tornados and it amounts to packing cotton generously to regulate oil flow.
I wish I had more...if anything my tfv8 is probably less likely to leak than any...
How new are you to building? I started long ago figuring out stuff like, how many wraps at what diameter using what gauge (twisted or not) put me where I want to be ohm wise. Start with kanthal between 24-26 gauge and practice your wrapping, installing and wicking methods. Then move to double...
Maybe you should rewick it. Take out first wicking, pulse fire and check ohms etc...
Rewick using ample cotton and ensure cotton is packed reasonably to absorb and feed from juice flow slots...
I'm posting this assuming the baby beast has the same build deck as my standard TFV8!
The cleanest Clapton wrapping I've done to date. 28gx2 + 32g made at home on the worst drill on the planet! 6 wraps, .48 ohms on mutation (X)-234. (obviously using 3 posts)....
Here after pulsing...
Woops, you are 100 percent correct. I had a brain fart when posting. I had that SS wire like 3 weeks ago and I believe it was 22 g. Thanks for the correct!
