I've done it twice. No metering, just by sight. I do pay extra attention to the cut edges. You will notice ( I do) one side will sparkle on torching more than the other. I used to fold under the edge the would be on the outside of the wick. No need to do that anymore! It is the easiest set up...
Because I fail @ linking on phone. Posted on UKV.
JACKFROST original posting~
Wasn't sure whether to start different thread for this but since it was done for an Orion V2.....

These things are general maintenance of any tube APV, genesis or not. Think of it as a tune up so your device fires optimally. I would only sand as a final resort if others fail.
Here is something to try to reduce condensated juice in your cap. If you watch your coil, you will see it still produces some vapor after you release the button. You can test this also by back puffing into the mouthpiece after you take a draw. See how much vapor comes out the intake?
Too get...

Poly tanks, run under hot water, then twist back & forth while pulling up. Yes they are very tight.
It is not necessary for cleaning though. You can flush with water syringed in.
I have not because it seems to me it would add unnecessary carbon. I have used a bic lighter in a pinch and don't recommend that either. A mini torch can be had for as little as $10 from Harbor Freight. Zen said he has them too!
What you want is the hotter blue flame. Some report success...
