It is smoother/rounder than oakwood, almost flat by comparison. I didn't pick up cedar ( pencil shavings), but did note astringency or sharpness in the FA. Not having chewed any oak woods, I can't comment on how realistic the red oak is. Can say its a good base to work out a Johnson Creek dupe...

Tobacco Absolute - A Flavor All By Itself.

Looking for a change from my current ADV, I mixed 6 drops 10% Rustica and 4 drops TPA Honeysuckle in 10ml. As a shake & vape I think I will reduce the Honeysuckle a touch. The herbal quality from the Rustica plays nicely with Honeysuckle. It is a very bright mix. Love this Rustica!

Very different creatures to my pallet. Not a fan of the FA.

Rustica has become king in my mixing tray. All others pale.

Walt, you can make single flavors of all your ingredients, sounds like you have already, and then mix by dripping into your atty. A way to test without committing to a batch, plus I find it beneficial to mix flavors as a stand alone first to understand what each bring. It can get you in the...

I found seedman's commercial tobacco has licorice/anise note.

I tried it based on one person saying it had a cedar note. I mixed @ 1% and found it faint. At 3% it gave a strange mouth sensation that ionone beta gives at higher percentages. It is one I need to play with more. It has a clean sweetness, but I found the tobacco very light. For me it is not a...

Could be, though I can vape halo Bella vallente with no issue. Also vanilla tahiti. I suppose vanillas need to be in the suspect list till I can work it out.

The allergies is what got me into DIY within a few moths of starting. Self preservation. :D My taste is rather quirky Wrt tabs. I hope you like it.

Really, really enjoying INA dark for pipe. Add a touch of samara TA and it sings, complimenting the oak note. Tasting INA vanilla for pipe set off my allergies pretty bad. Had to hit the inhaler. Another I can not tolerate. :(

Any one know if vanilla for pipe has diacetyl or acetoin? My quick shake & vape a week ago didn't set off my allergies. Granted I only vaped a few drops. Today wow! Itchy throat, tight chest , and runny nose. Dark for pipe doesn't do this to me. The winkle site had no info through a search.

Have it, actually 2 bottles by mistake. I don't care for it but many enjoy it. As I recall, it is used in their base . has a blackstrap taste I don't care for and find very predominate in mixes no matter how sparingly I use it.

Just got dark for pipe. A quick shake & vape and can tell this one is going to the top of the keepers list. Dark rum tobacco with an interesting wood smoke thing going on. One bottle drop in 3ml has plenty of flavor for me, though I have worked those percentages down over my years of vaping.

Tobacco Absolute - A Flavor All By Itself.

Just got my order. Smells so good. Mixed 10% dilution at 3% stand alone, shake & vape tastes as it smells. I get herbal and woody notes. This lot is from the march shipment listing nic content at 5-25%. Good stuff!

JD, to my pallet its predominate blackstrap molasses over bold tobacco . I pick up a slight herbal note to it. It is too sweet for my taste. If you want fruity, try INA Am4A. Fruitcake like over tobacco. Dried fruits. I was hopeful, but I didn't like any I purchased.

Inawera was a miss for me. Hangsen Indian is my go to. I do have a few on the wish list based on flavor notes around here. Even though Ry1 is reported to be nut free, my pallet picks up peanut. Yuk. Looking for a cedar note tobacco . Any thoughts? I tried molecules but got baby powder taste...
