The perfect vape comes from the atty, pick your power source as long as it's suitable to that. Hands down best vapor, flavor, throat hit comes out of a genesis tank with SS mesh. /end thread
Yes, max on my twist is 4.8v, paired with a 1.8 ohm atomizer it would generate a little more amps than the battery can handle. Since ego batteries are rated around 2.2amps, 4 volts is about as high as you want to go on a 1.8 ohm atty. Now, I've pushed them to their limits before, I used to use...
Yes, ohms law still applies though so follow the same limits for any type of atomizer. No lower than 1.8 on a standard 3.7v ego is within the safe amperage zone.
Right. You could just get the 1.8, on a twist you can increase the voltage a bit and achieve the same thing as using a 1.5ohm atty. Check out an ohms law calculator on google, plug in your volts (power from battery) and resistance (atty ohms), hit calculate and it will tell you how many amps and...
I was thinking of grabbing some plasti dip in a can next time I see some. The stuff you dip tool handles in, lots of colors to choose and it should be removable once dry.
Ohms law. High voltage + low resistance = high amperage. An ego battery handles about 2.2 amps which is about the equivalent of 4v / 1.8 ohms, any more could damage the battery. You can push the atty on a mod with a higher rated battery and switch but it will shorten the atty's life.
Nice man, great idea. I do nickel plating and was thinking about doing this. Might I ask what you used for the electrolyte solution and how much power?
Sure, anything that breaths at the bottom though, like a Terminator/Ody clone will run into problems. A real Odysseus has air grooves machined into the base.
I ground both sides down, no more driver slot on the bottom and I can still turn it just fine with my fingers. I had to take off more since I also shortened the 510 skirt height to bring my tanks down flush onto the mod. So the slots are also ground off on the negative post to drop the battery...
I gave this mod some grief and scrutiny when I got, still not sure it's worth 50 clams, but it has become my main, all day mod now that I'm completely converted to rebuildables, working my way up in wattage at 15 now. The fact that it's not a limited run piece of art makes it ok for me to pocket...
This AGA post issue happened to someone else and I'm not sure they were aware that the natural post can be adjusted from underneath the top cap. If yours is not turning it may be cross thread, I believe it's insulated in delrin or something. I would give it reasonable amount of force using a...
