What do you think of rayon with the DNA40? I have been liking a warmer vape on my RDA and start out at 480 (.16 ohms) 20 watts for max vapor and flavor. As the coil breaks in I tend to have to raise the temp a bit in a day or so... Then I know I will either rewick or rebuild every couple of...- ukeman

Proto--- smaller company; assembled to order (choices), not seen a complaint of glitch with the 40 other than Heespharm... I like everything about it. Even though the batt replacement design is not to my liking, I can't complain; I got it as a backup and its definitely a front line device. -

^ I agree^ except why bother trying to clean it? I mean I get at least two days of vaping (in rotation with other devices, but i chain vape about 15, 20ml a day 3,4mg nic lol. Nothing like a fresh coil... (I know, my kanthal coils last weeks and I dry burn them all the time right?) but imo its...- ukeman

High End REGULATED MODS !
We're getting lots of posts about glitches with the DNA40, but my Flask40 is working flawlessly... there's so many factors involved including atomizer and Ni200 build issues that its hard to differentiate the origin of the various problems. I believe most happy DNA40 users are not posting but... -

^^^I'm getting the opinion that small air flow atomizers (1mm to 1.5mm), while simulating the drag on a cigbutt imo ( tight), tend to give better flavor, than the open air RDA types. I would go to the Ohms Calculator and plug in different figures: Ohm's Law Calculator You put in your resistance and then a watts number or a voltage and it gives you good info. * make sure you have the right batts of course. i.e. if you use the .25 ohms at 4v its going to be about 65 watts... -

^^ I have to guess that .35 is "high" on the spectrum for one thing (don't know what that implies lol) but staying at 400 and not getting to 500 seems to be that the watts are too low? I have to think that most of glitches are coming from a few reasons: from defective coils to atomizer...- ukeman

AMDTrucker, I posted on another DNA40 thread, i think, some photo's of an Eclipse Ti atomizer (small dual coil dripper with air under the coils) that I made a single coil 2mm ID. The added air (not alot because I used the smallest of the dual air AFC setting) got me a ton more vapor and...- ukeman

I would guess (almost bet) that if you used a thinner Ni200 it would work ... just saying. oops I see you did try it with 28g. my bad. but there's got to be something missing; i'd guess in the setup air flow maybe? I've only used 30 g and everything i've tried works...- ukeman
