just to take the idea in the direction implied, you could do anywhere from 1 to 2 ohms coil using 30g wire would give you 1. more surface area 2. better cool down 3. use more voltage (not necessarily more watts) to get the vape you want. If using a mech mod, I'd stay down below 1.6 ohms, but...- ukeman

Hitting TP on the read out is misinterpreted to mean a bad thing... its not. It simply means it modulating the heat to stay within the setting! You don't have to stop vaping when it does that. If you want more heat just adjust it higher. -

If you don't like or haven't had much experience with coil making there are some pre made coils coming out with Ni200 from some of the Kanger-Type atomizers (for TP devices). I think the flavor is superior in an RTA like Phenom vs. a Nautilus i.e. but having Ni and TP is going to improve things... -

Phenom Zest was added to my rotation and am vaping at 4v on my Ranger OKR-T10. .90 ohms 30g Kanthal coil. The 3 air holes seem to give about 2mm air which is just enough imo. (happy camper :) ) Flavor is up there with the best as per the consensus here... I just figured how to adjust the... -

Yeah so just set up your coil and set watts to taste... a 1 to 2 ohm coil with i.e. 30g wire will give you enough wraps to see the difference and your VW should not have to get anywhere near 70w.- ukeman

? just a minor glitch to my mind there, because without running any figures, my experience shows that a more satisfactory vape with the longer coil won't require as much as 100w. I look at it more from a voltage increase... and less watts. You're vaping 70w and probably about 4v... Increase the...- ukeman

I don't exactly know either, but I would have the same reaction coming from Ni wire... something like that Ni 30g would come in under or near .20 ohms. 8 wrap Ti 24g comes in approx, .24 with a 2.5mm ID coil... But I imagine there are some variables to consider... length of legs etc. -

If I didn't have so many DNA30, 40's, and the (SX Mini M class coming), I might have a WAE You can fire those LR coils with any amount of voltage you want. Pris, have you tried upping your ohms with 30g wire coils? IMO nothing beats this type of chip because you can ramp up the voltage... -
