    Oh, no... I'm grateful for an answer. I appreciate it. I'll stick with the 3.0v batts. I wouldn't want to risk my atty's nor would I wish to go through my juice faster. And I can live without that burned taste. I've experienced it once in a while without 5v, so I know it can be nasty...
