I didn't wait. The batteries had right at 3.0 volts in them, so I stuck two of them in the Prodigy and put the other two in the charger. I was impressed that the two in the Prodigy lasted beyond the other's charge time.

I get half-a-day's use from a set of batteries, and have never been behind the power curve with dead batteries in the Prodigy and two on the charger.

I tried - I got a few good drags before the vapor got weak - and GOOD they were.

I ordered an identical spare charger and batteries ahead of time (from batteryjunction.com, I think) and have three pairs fully charged and ready to roll once the Prod is out of the box. Full throttle right off the line!

I am #17089 (Prod 801 + 510 adapter), not shipped yet, but it's printed out and waiting "on the floor".

That is about all the excitation I can handle at the moment!

Yeah, same here. Once my order hits the floor, I'm going to get some spare batts and a charger. Gotta have those ready for when the mail man brings my new toy. Waiting 4 hours for a charge is not part of the plan.

My spouse glanced at me reading the shipped notice on my laptop, saw the look at my face and asked "What?!?!".

I can't believe it! I'll be putting 1000 solo miles on my car over the weekend with only two 510's to keep me company. I'll have to pack a tray of spare parts, chargers, PCC, Kensingon PPP, etc. to make the trip.

But I've got that package to look forward to next week. I am so frikking geeked.

wow are orders placed on the 20th really just now shipping out??? Oh no I ordered my prodigy 901 and some spare attys just today guess I can look for them in about 3 weeks time I'm running on a borrowed 901 right now as all my e-cigs decided to die at the same time. 10 of them so damn the luck here!!! I'm sure it will be worth the wait though....

Not sure what order #s they are up to or that it would help. That order included a 510 PD adapter and could have been held up waiting as those just started shipping today I think. Also there are lots of orders that don't include PDs at all that have already shipped.

This thread sure has slowed down a bit since the last few weeks, no more updates and a lot less people reporting in their product being being shipped. I Guess the majority has already received their prodigy. Just us few procrastinating losers left.

Pending some unforeseen disaster (knocking on wood so don't worry) I wouldn't be surprised to see within 2wks the PD go to and remain (base kit anyways) an in stock item. Was kind of the whole point of it being made here, just getting through the initial launch. After that, at least not unless/until vaping becomes much more mainstream and those people have all had a chance to become fed up with regular units, I think PS will easily keep up with demand for base kits. Can't say on the attys.

I THINK my status is on the floor but it'll be 3 weeks for me tomorrow. 801 Prodigy. I'm a instant gratification sort of person so it feels like years hehe.

I hate to admit it but I myself and an instant gratification sort of person as well. I'm hoping it doesn't take 3 weeks I'll die from the wait. My birthday is the 24th so hopefully just maybe I'll get lucky and have a nice birthday package in the mailbox then lol.....
