Wait till you see my next move!
It's a user settable 4,0 to 6V, constant vapor machine. The same amount of vapor you like throughout the whole battery charge.
1000mAh won't be enough, a 510 tends to draw 2000mAh at 5V. If it's a good adapter it will survive. If it's cheaply made it could catch fire!
Let me try to interpret it:
Both setups, PT and box mod.
under load means while vaping them
Edit: WillyB, your post wasn't there when I wrote this :D
Usually the Ultrafires and Spiderfires and Trustfires and SureFires are all much more less then the advertised capacity.
Most of the under 2400 mark hold less then 2000mAh. The Ultrafire 3000 and Trustfire 2400 in red and black seem to be the best you can buy from DX. Both are very near to...
The box mod tries to pump 5V and 2Amps in the 510 and if well built also manages to do so.
The PT mod also tries to pump 5V but at around 0,5Amps (if using USB port) or at least under 1,5A (if using some 5V power source) stops, faring just better then standard fully charged batts without being...
Exactly that!
If you look only at the first page of the datasheet, it states 1A max recommended forward current and you are very correct!
At 4,2V a 510 draws about 1,5A, the diode is safe! Not on spec, but not endangered either.
USB charging PCB is the same old one I used in all my mods, self-made.
TI regulator was bought from farnell.com
As I told peaceoffcake, homemade. Just like in the classic nicosticks I did.
TI voltage regulators can be set to different voltages using a resistor (from 5V to 18V). For 4,2V you...
Features:
- 1800mAh (2 x 14500 900mAh Li-Ion)
- constant voltage throughout battery life
- settable between 4,2V (as a freshly charged Li-Ion) or 6,5V (maximum recommended)
- 510 connector and adapters
- USB recharging at 500mA per hour (around 4,5hours for a full recharge)
First step -...
If it's fully on at a Vgs of 3V, has less then 100mOhm resistance and is good for 3A you have a winner there.
Integrated ESD body diode is highly recommended if you plan to touch that component without grounding yourself.
Voted for 510. Most vapor at stock voltage.
A big plus is the connector, with adapters you only add 3-4mm to the total length so it's also the best starting connector.
Unless that wall adapter is rated at more then 2Amps you are far better off and safer using the PT battery as standard inline.
Usually those wall adapters are rated at 500mA, but mostly a 400mA current draw will burn them. Attys tend to draw in excess of 1500mA at 5V so chances are very slim...
The original Joye510's seem to be the best, from these the matte black ones last longer and have better and constant vapor production in time. I've only tried white and shiny metal besides matte black.
Don't have any logical explanation, I've just noticed.
You should be able to find Fluval and Juwel filters at pet stores, at least these I've seens constantly through europe.
Best IMO is still the Lipton mod. In europe, at least from what I've seen (of course not exhaustively) only green tea and white tea seem to have the correct pyramid material...
First, throat hit on auto batteries is not the best. AFAIK KR808's have a 5sec. cutoff too so that does not help either.
I can use cartos only at 5V. It's seems to be their sweet-spot.
Regarding the Protege, I think you may have a bad battery charger. That explains why its performance decreased.
Looks like the top part (with the atty connector) suffered a short or the electronics are fried. Hence the powerful burnt smell and atty activation.
Simplest method: buy just the top part as a spare. I saw it in a few online stores.
PM me if you can't find it.
Janty has the Dura-C if I'm not mistaken.
Batteries, manual and auto switch, atomizers.
Manuals should be sealed anyway, there is no need for the central hole anymore (except KR808 maybe).
You can seal it yourself with a tiny blob of lead-free solder if they are not already sealed.
There is...
Never had a problem with Dekang juices... last order came in yesterday from China, all were fine. I have opened bottles since may and they still taste fine.
You know there is always a possibility with the new child proof bottle caps that the vendor can slip other juices in the bottles...
I'd...
