a bar raised and smashed on my skull eh? Greyhound had a much less stringent security team. Or maybe it was the fact it was on a red eye and most people were to tired to give a hoot. My coworkers are pretty used to seeing this lil thing. Customers just think it's a phone. People in front of...
So now ladies and gentlemen, I have reached a pinnacle of my ghetto mods: a charger port :) No longer will i have to worry or fret about a rubber band snapping [ow-into my finger]. Bask in its glory:
ok...so i've made some revisions to both mods. I've given up tape for simplicity and lack of stickiness. I just traded out for more rubber bands :D The cellphone battery mod I gave to a coworker to get off the analog kick. He absolutely loves it. I might even start putting an actual button...
Got some 3.5 and other ohm'mage vortex 2.0's in today. Filled on of the 3.5's up on my 6v ghetto mod. Man....this sucka is awesome!!! I've got 2 saphies and a giant green ce2 to play with too. Lots of awesome vaping gear to get me through the times :D Chris you guys rock...
So I went bat.... crazy on a closeout of IKEA solar things this past week. I bought $500 worth of solar lights for a project to light up my room at night off the grid. Here's a preview of what I've got started thus far:
BOXES!!!!!
crap in the boxes i don't need
solar cells with...

I'll explain more tomorrow after some sleep.

Take a pic of your gear and post it up here and i'll run some thought of how to piece it together to work for ya and maybe save ya some time and cash on the shipping.
Crash:
I'm not sure about the safety of charging lions from nimh. I do know that blackberries have some clickie buttons...
So the weird looks continue, but this hits like a beast. I'm waiting for another black berry bold hip pouch to come my way so that i can resurrect the garth mod :D
I used a cell phone battery with leads that mad a 90 degree bend [ie: on top and the side type of leads].
Took 2 u-shaped halves of paper clips that were pretty snug fitting on the battery.
The wire is an RCA cable with the outer crown ripped off so you can shove it into a 1/4 inch phono jack...
ok....i went digging through some of my mod supplies wasting some time while i wait for my battery charger to get here. This is my second high volt vaping experiement since I taped 4 AAs together. This monster kicks like nobody's business on a standard 3.2 ohm atty.
So if you haven't...
Well....part of the hassle of lazy mods is getting them charged up again. I'm sure I could recharge the battery at work. But that would require odd looks for having this contraption hooked to the external battery charger. OR it would require taking it apart. It's a 1500 mah battery. It hit...
That's purty dang close. Change phone jack with something i stole from Dalmuta. It's his rca phono jack 801 adaptor that I saw in one of his vids. Basically, there's half a paperclip [in a "U" shape] that has a rubber band under it as a fulcrum, then there's another rubber band on top of it...
So I sit next to a stash of cell phone batteries and office supplies all the time. This is what I came up with:
1500 mah battery, paperclips, clear tape, rca cable, 1/4" phone plug
:vapor:
I've been stalking the $1 pv adapters and battery connectors for a while. I recently just got a sparkplug with an 801 connector, so i needed something to make it useful. I really appreciate the fair shipping and the two goodies: some pillow mint juice and a yellow drip tip. The pillow mint is...
